BBQ Ribs With Fig BBQ sauce

Ingredients for Ribs

2 Baby Back Ribs

or Ribs of your choosing.

Yellow Mustard Or Olive Oil

Seasonings For Rub:

Make a Rub with these ingredients.

Onion Powder, Garlic Powder, Smoked Paprika, Sea Salt,  Pepper,  Hot Pepper Flakes,  Dry Mustard, Parsley Flakes.  And what ever  other flavorings you might want to add.  This is the basic of what I use.


Coat Ribs with mustard Or Olive Oil to just moisten meat.

Sprinkle seasonings all over and massage into meat.  Let stand over night.

Ingredients for Fig BBQ Sauce

2 cups ketchup

1 Onion minced fine

2 cloves Garlic minced fine

1/4 cup Yellow mustard

1/3 cup Apple Cider Vinegar * Organic *

15 - 20  Fresh Figs chopped fine

1/2 teaspoon liquid smoke

1/2 Cup Packed Brown Sugar

Salt and Pepper to taste

Cook all ingredients  over low heat

until  some of the liquid boils out and

 sauce starts to thicken.


Cook Ribs On Grill over low heat until tender. 

Brush with BBQ sauce  Return to heat for  approx 15 minutes

Serve with your favorite Side Dishes.
